City tour – the sustainable and creative city of Berlin
With Stefan Krüskemper, an action by »Parallele Welten« [Parallel Worlds].
As part of the Festival Europeo entre Ríos y Mares the artists of »Parallele Welten« offer a guided city tour in Bogotá. Unfortunately, they use for their urban excursion a city map of Berlin and create in the overlapping of two cities an imaginary journey.
The path leads to utopian sites of initiatives working with artistic strategies and to projects questioning democratic co-existence and the development of a civic art.
The Berlin-based artist collective »Parallele Welten« [Parallel Worlds] consisting of Stefan Krüskemper, María Linares and Kerstin Polzin work together since 2009. Their goal is the joint development and participatory shaping of imaginary (art) spaces that provide all participants with extensive test and design possibilities.
Stadtführung durch das kreativ nachhaltige Berlin

Im Rahmen des Festival Europeo entre Ríos y Mares bieten die Berliner Künstler_innen der Gruppe Parallele Welten eine Stadtführung in Bogotá an. Unglücklicherweise orientieren sie sich auf ihrer Sightseeing Tour an einen Stadtplan von Berlin und schaffen damit eine imaginäre Reise in der Überlappung zweier Städte.
Der Weg führt zu utopischen Orten von Initiativen, die an der Schnittstelle zur Kunst agieren, und zu Projekten, die Fragen des demokratischen Miteinanders sowie die Entwicklung einer Bürgerkunst zum Themen haben.
Das Berliner Künstlerkollektiv »Parallele Welten« mit Stefan Krüskemper, María Linares und Kerstin Polzin arbeitet seit 2009 zusammen. Ziel ist die gemeinsame Erarbeitung und partizipative Ausformung ideeller (Kunst-)Räume, die allen Beteiligten erweiterte Möglichkeiten der Erprobung und Gestaltung bietet.

En el marco del Festival Europeo entre Ríos y Mares los artistas Stefan Krüskemper y María Linares del colectivo berlinés Parallele Welten [Mundos Paralelos] ofrecen una visita guiada en la ciudad de Bogotá. Desafortunadamente se orientan en su recorrido con un mapa de la ciudad de Berlín, creando así un viaje imaginario en la transposición de dos ciudades.
El camino conduce a sitios utópicos de iniciativas que operan en el umbral del arte y de proyectos que tematizan aspectos de convivencia democrática y del desarrollo de un arte ciudadano.
El colectivo de artistas »Parallele Welten« [Mundos paralelos], conformado por los artistas Stefan Krüskemper (Alemania), María Linares (Colombia) y Kerstin Polzin (Alemania), desarrolla formatos que ponen en relación a distintos agentes, proyectos artísticos e iniciativas civiles para facilitar conexiones entre el arte y las prácticas cotidianas. El colectivo indaga en torno a la relación del activismo urbano y el arte para activar el espacio público como un escenario en el que se proyectan imaginarios sociales y políticos de forma participativa.
